Pretty cool. I always thought it was weird as a kid that Wally didnt have a secret ID like all the other heroes.
Still not sure why they decided to go that route .
Maybe to make Wally more of an every man.

I was thinking as I've been doing some re-read of some of my favorite books, I don't think I have ever read the Walter West story arc. I remember reading up to that point and I remember reading after. Need to check it out!

I absolutely adore the line about Bart's hair. Bart could have easily cosplayed Cousin It from The Addams Family TV show with all those locks.

Been waiting for a trade of Walter West's stories since seemingly forever. It's looking so remote that we will get one this year. But if we do it had better include the JLApe story.

It was a lot of fun.
Bart as a time traveller was the only one who remembered Linda.
Walter's costume was bloody brilliant and I was always bummed he never reappeared.

It was kind of a shame he never reappeared when they did all that Superboy Prime stuff. Walter was on the same "real world" Earth, after all. And the entire concept of a world where superheroes in comics are just an alternate reality is Flash to the core.

I loved that story so much.

And that's probably my favorite costume for Jesse. Should've had pants, but still my favorite of her costumes.

Also never heard from Angela again after this arc which seemed a bit a missed opportunity.

I dont think anything has been seen from the Dark Flash story since. It was the last story from Waids run before John's took over so I guess John's just wanted to start fresh. After John's Wally's stories have been a mess. Maybe it's a good thing they haven't brought Walter back. Probably would have just mismanaged him.

This was an excellent issue! Dr Alchemy running amok, Wally struggling to stop him, and Jay & Hal showing up unannounced as they figured 'the kid' wasn't ready.

Still got to get this issue. I have the main series but dont have all the annuals.

I really liked the themed annuals DC had in the 90's. 1995's year ones were cool
