I recognize that in the original Ultimate Spider-Man comics, Jefferson deeply distrusted and disliked superhumans as bringers of chaos and death into the lives of ordinary humans, and considering what a bunch of @$$holes a lot of the Ultimate "heroes" were, he had something of a point. I wasn't expecting that to be adapted as him letting Osborn turn him into Swarm, though I did recognize his horror and shame at realizing the Spider-Man he hated and resented so much was his own son all along from the original comics' "my God, what have I done?" moment after lashing out at Spider-Man/Miles in anger over the deaths of his brother and wife. In any case, I wonder how the last episode(s) of Maximum Venom will resolve that.

He was in the early Season 1 episode were Miles gained his powers. And of course the spoilers in hindsight. That said, since this isn't Miles' show, Jefferson's appearances are limited in-between.

Yeah, I wouldn't blame anyone for forgetting Jefferson even appeared on the show given how long it's been since that one episode and Miles hasn't even mentioned him once.

(Seems like a lot of Miles' problems in the series could be summed up with "this isn't Miles' show."

Maybe if they had done more to build up to it or not had such a gap it could have worked better, but it felt like a huge jump, especially for the kind of character we're talking about.

Y'know, I really don't think about older Miles for the most part but this looks about what I'd expect him to look like.

Preview for issue #19 is up, looks like it is an actual clone and not a particularly good one either. Interesting tidbit about Quantum not being around, probably fighting Iron Man for that event.

Yeah, it does seem like "Asset 42" is already starting to show signs of clone degeneration.
