Oh criminy does that even count? Blond Betsy in a weird dream sequence!
I'm really into this Ben Caldwell piece! You know, I don't hate the CB design but some artists can really make it look too big and clunky. The artists who get it right though?! They get make it look gooooooooood. If we constantly had the likes of Brooks, Larraz, Caldwell, and Silva dishing out Betsy covers I'd be in heaven.
A picture would last longer darling...
Silverstri’s Elisabeth was indeed a stunner. And it was amazing watching her slow rise to leadership I the group during that period. A slow burn leading up to the Siege Perilous solution. Not quite on the level of manipulative on the scale of Dr Druid and the Avengers but Betsy didn’t shy from pushing a telepathic button or twelve to get folks to do as she wanted.

Is this an Amulet of Right vs Sword of Right thing?
There’s precedent for a Captain Britain choosing the Sword.

And Betsy wasn’t born to the role of HERO but she WANTED it.

I have some questions Betsy experts: has Betsy ever referenced Thomas Lennox since his death? He was a telepath/telekinetic but was he a mutant? I know humans can have those powers without being a mutant (like Moondragon).
I also wonder how long they were lovers..
I've been reading some Captain Britain stuff for the first time, but am missing parts.
I love Ben Caldwell's version of the Captain Britain uniform.

You guys talking about Jim Lee made me think about Beast saying my favorite line about Psylocke. Plus Cyclops with a good one-liner...
