I am kind of curious why Thawne didn't pick any of the evil Speedsters to fight the Flash Family (I think Jay already mentioned The Rival being absent). They make more sense than The Rogues.

I guess Thawne would probably be incapable of running a Reverse-Flash family because he's too selfish to share the spotlight with other evil Speedsters.

I suspect he also sees Hunter Zolomon (Zoom from Wally's era) as being a copycat. Even the TV show made that apparent, as Eobard and Zolomon were the first two big bads, and had the exact same plan - steal Barry's speed by taking a fake identity and playing ally (Harrison Wells and Jay Garrick respectively).

To be honest, this whole run has become about blaming Barry for everything and he's owned up to all of it (even when he wasn't at fault). Isn't he due some absolving?

Slight question, would people say currently it would be better to start with say the New 52 run and then into the Rebirth series where you may need to do research if something is referenced or do you think there is somewhere else to start in terms of reading modern flash comics.

I’m reading Flash now I just got into a conversation with one of my comic reading friends about Flash and it got me thinking is all.
