Iris West 2 and her brother

Hello,

one thing which I dont understand why doesnt DC use Iris West 2 and her brother.

I mean Future State would have been a PERFECT moment to use the 2 characters.

Iris West 2 has shown that she has more powers than the rest of the Flash Family (Speed Cocoons etc.) and she was recently brought back in the DC Universe.
I dont understand why DC doesnt use her and her brother and instead brings new Speedsters in this event and I also doubt that the 2 will get used much afterwards.

I don't think they really care about them atm, there's a lot Flash characters they could've used.

Also they still need to reestablish Wally first, who is also only recently back in public as former mass manslaughterer, before even getting to his kids.
I mean I personally would've skipped to Heroes in Crisis Never Happened but since now they say Everything is Canon then they also want to Explain Everything

Short answer is: Nobody at DC (in the last decade or so) gave enough of a **** about the Flash - unless it's Barry Allen.
I'd give a long answer, but I'd be likely to fly into a fit of rage and break something....

There's a lot of Speedsters to juggle. Barry, Wally, Wallace...I can understand why the twins aren't more high profile.

Also why does Wallace get precedence, exactly? He was way worse than anything the Twins were ever in, given a dozen more chances, and came later.

Worse, Wallace is an artifact of a reboot, and so effectively was created by accident! He was just meant to be Wally West originally, not a new character. He actually knows this about himself too!

He knows he only exists because of Flashpoint. He doesn't know the meta stuff we do about him just being a crappy version of Wally originally.

That's not meant to be him. The TV Series Wally is black because Iris and Joe are black.

Regardless, it's dumb as hell that DC destroyed their first interracial family and continues to ignore it when they're trying to put a conscious effort into promoting diversity. AND she fits better into the Damian generation paradigm, despite the fact that they inserted Wallace into it.

Why doesn’t DC use Don and Dawn Allen instead of having them as the dead generation between Barry and Bart/XS?

I guess it ages up Barry and Iris to have actually grown up children and acknowledge them as grandparents.

Double standards I guess, where Clark and Bruce can have Jon and Damien, but Ollie can’t have Connor Hawke???

Don and Dawn were never Barry and Iris' kids until Barry was already dead. They were retconned into Barry and Iris' kids during Waid's tenure on the Wally West Flash comics. At that point there were already plans for Wally's kids (Waid originally created them named after Barry and Iris, though Johns later renamed Barry into Jai because he planned on bringing Barry back).

The Tornado Twins were an obscure piece of minor Legion of Super Heroes trivia before Waid, biggest LOSH fan alive, decided to wrap them into his big speedster Speed Force cavalcade like he did Max and Johnny.

If Barry and Iris had the kids, like, today they'd be too young. Though speedster kids have a tendency to age fast. I would find an amusing story of Iris and Jai taking care of their infant second cousin tornado twins with their superpowers. Sounds like a good hijinx story.

I'm not defending Wallace, but DC seems to want to use him.
He'll always be redundant as he's just a copy of an adaptation of Wally.
