Do you know why he gets a bad rap? Because I do. And if you've read the first arc of Spider-Woman by Hopeless you will understand why I don't like him.

Speak to any woman about his art and maybe you will understand.

    And now I'm done.

Edit: Karla Pacheco confirmed we're going at least through issue 10. Hopefully we get more than that.

He gets a bad rap from tracing over porn, and reusing the same images over and over again. He’s been doing this since his CrossGen days.

I’m loving this series more with every issue.

Marvel should have gone all out with a female creator heavy list of variants for the 100th issue. Like June Brigman, Joelle Jones, Amanda Conner, Becky Cloonan, Carmen Carnero, Amy Reeder, Fiona Staples, Emma Rios, etc. Very weak effort, Marvel.

You get me. And I agree with you. It helps that Perez teaches martial arts bc his fight scenes are fantastic.

And truly I don't mind Yoon bc he's been doing the main covers. I like the artgerm recolor. I like SKOTTIE young. But ya know. I want to see more women on Jess book - they should have gone heavier on women creators for such a milestone issue imo.

With Strikeforce ending, would now be the perfect time to revamp the Midnight Sons line, where Jess could guest from time to time? She has horror roots, and can easily float between the horror and super genres...

I'm not familiar enough to say but it's m down for Jess appearing anywhere. She has ties to every part of the MU.

Not gonna lie, kinda hoping she shoes up in werewolf by night.

!!!! That team up issue from her first series is one of my favorites that wasn’t part of the Claremont run!

He had a cameo in the Hopeless/Hallum run too - which is why I'm REALLY HOPING it continues.

Ugh. I still need to pick those issues up. I have the Spiderverse issues, but don’t know why I never picked up the rest.

I think that the cover variants are a waste of time. If Marvel really wants Spider-Woman to sell like hotcakes, they should have her make a reoccurring appearance in the following books in a story arc so that the respected readers would get to know her better:

    1. Amazing Spider-Man
    2. Spectacular Spider-Man
    3. Daredevil
    4. Black Cat
    5. Jessica Jones
    6. The Punisher
    7. The Black Widow

Jessica makes frequent appearances in Captain Marvel. I would love to see her make a reoccurring appearance in the books i had mentioned. This would give Jessica the marketing exposure she needs for readers to migrate to her solo series. I am only referring to Jessica making an appearance in other titles in a story arc. No crossovers to her book, what so ever...

Well you're getting your wish - she's showing up in Sins Rising. And I've been jonesing for a Spider-Woman/Daredevil team up for years - it's a crime that hasn't happened yet. As for the rest...she has the best chance of showing up in Black Widow IMO because she's good friends with Nat and they've teamed up a lot before. Black Cat and JJ also make sense but I wouldn't care for the Punisher. I know Karla Pacheco loves the character, but ....yeah.

That said, I don't think Jess needs to be going over into everyone else's books and it looks like it's not happening anytime soon other than the two mentioned earlier -sins rising and Captain Marvel. And Jess showing up in Captain Marvel makes absolute sense since she's Carol's best friend.

Let Jess stand on her own a bit. I think she can do it. It's not that I don't love it when she shows up other places - I do. But I don't like your theory that the only way Jess will be successful is to pair her up with everyone else. Seems to me you have zero faith in the character. Her last series ended after 27 issues, which considering how Marvel likes to cancel series just as they're barely getting started, is an excellent track record.

You do realise that the new Werewolf by Night series stars a brand new character, right?

Jessica is part of the Spider-Office. Second, Jessica and Peter are friends. Friends help each other out. There is nothing wrong with Jessica appearing in the books I mentioned because they are part of the Spider-Office. She is already proven that Spider-Man is not needed. But Jessica and Peter have so much in common that needs to be explored. Her friendship with Parker would be on par with Carol Danvers, whose also friends with him as well. What I want to see is a team-up adventure that comprised of the following:

    1. Jessica Drew, Carol Danvers, and Peter Parker
    2. Jessica Drew, Natasha Romanov, and Peter Parker
    3. Jessica Drew, Daredevil, and The Black Cat
