Hellstorm seems so shady when talking to Billy why is no one addressing this? I still think he might be Vridai in disguise or something. He was very for him and Billy going back to the Vridai, the evil smirk doesn't do well to discourage my distrust either.

I have a feeling when the crew is done seal ng with Moonstone and Ghost they'll find Billy, Hellstrom and ophidian gone.

Next issue should be good. Maybe fight a whole hospital of zombies. Keep the guest artist on.

Jacapo is on the next issue then it's back to German. I like both.

I really enjoyed this issue -- but seriously, Tini Howard needs to start giving us some explanation for this whole "Monica is an engineering genius" thing that seems to have sprung up out of nowhere. She was a police officer, and a boat captain with her own charter business. I've never heard her referred to as an engineer prior to this series, and now she's calling called one practically once per issue. I'm certainly not opposed to learning about new skills or interests for Monica, and with her relationship with Blue Marvel it is understandable that she may show more of an interest in science now--but this whole "engineering genius" thing is being pushed a bit hard given that it is not something that has ever been established in her backstory before (unless I've missed something--but since Monica has been one of my favourite Marvel characters for decades, I doubt it).

Despite my concerns on the whole engineer thing, I very much appreciated the spotlight Monica got in this issue -- which made the appearance of Moonstone even more appropriate, as she is one of the top names in Monica's personal rogues gallery. I'm not 100% sure that Tini's got Karla's voice right though--but we'll see next issue, when she gets more panel time. Maybe it was just her intro narration that referred to her "complete lunacy" that has me iffy about it. Although clearly Karla isn't entirely right in the head--she's a supervillain, after all--she has never been a nutcase or delusional. She's tended to be one of the more sane and rational of villains--a schemer, plotter and manipulator. I look forward to seeing more of her next issue, and seeing the latest confrontation between her and Monica. Its been far too long since those two have had another rematch!

Ghost certainly got put to good use here, and proved a very effective foe for the team--which is impressive, given the raw power and the skill of the heroes in question!

Jacopo Camagni did an excellent job as the fill-in artist here. Although I agree with the sentiment that Daimon needs to go back to his old look, Jacopo actually managed to make him still look attractive despite the awful makeover. I also liked his little touch at the Second Circle bar, with the "Hello There" neon sign above the bar having the O and T burnt out so that it says "hell here". That's an homage to the same sign in Selina Kyle's apartment in the BATMAN RETURNS movie. I wonder if Tini scripted that, or if it was a touch Jacopo put in himself?

Daimon telling Wiccan that sooner or later he's going to have groupies throwing themselves at him due to his magical prowess. That's an interesting thought -- it may have already started with Chasmodeus trying to make a pass at him back in issue #2. I wonder if this was just a throwaway line, or if Tini is plans to follow it up? This book is the first time Billy and Teddy have been apart so much since they became a couple as well as crime fighting partners. Having other guys throwing themselves at him while he is suddenly away from his fiance a lot could provide some dramatic and/or comedic potential.

This continues to be one of my favourite titles right now, and I am very much looking forward to next issue!

Camagni did a great job filling in for Peralta (who I also really like). The fanservicey bits in the Wiccan and Hellstrom scene were nice. Enjoying this book so much more than Excalibur.

The amount of people online who see people talking about Strikeforce and respond "There's a book with Angela, Bucky Jess and Monica on a team?! How did I not know about this?" Is astonishing.

Because of the Odin connection, I see her as a god. Marvel didn't do a very good job of selling me on the Norse angels, Hevn, etc., thing.

Yup, lineup alone sold me on this team, but the writing (particularly for Jess) keeps me in the door. I initially only picked up the first book, thought it was a little slow and caught back up with the 4th issue and now I'm with it. Glad I circled back, this is even better than I was thinking it would be. I kinda want the Vridai threat to be wrapped just so we can establish these guys as a legit Marvel team instead of being just together for one mission.

And add me to the chorus of chrome domes who needs Hellstrom to get his hair back asap! I'm not sure what it is, but they seem to get Daimon's look right for me for the past few years now. Just go with Sorrentino's look, no need to overthink it.

There is also a staggering number of "fans" out in the world who aren't nearly as active as many of we are on the socials or don't actively pursue content from the creatives (writers, artists, etc) and/or just plain don't know where to find content.
I'm continually finding myself going "Oh, I guess I should be visiting [new site I just discovered] for articles/info" or "Oh, I didn't know [creative person] had a [social media account]!!"
