Not only did that Wizard cover have great artwork from Banks, but the article on GL that was inside the magazine had a lot of interesting info about the new direction at the time. Couldn't get enough of it, I tell ya.

I loved their dynamic and I wish we could've seen them together again during Rebirth .

In agreement with you about the dynamic,
the banter between those two in regards to who gets to be which character from the film "The Magnificent Seven" was classic.

Yeah that's really unfortunate. When you have good friendships where the characters haven't interacted for years, people start forgetting about those friendships even existed in the first place.

I blame the JLU cartoon and DC wanting synargy and by the time it ended kyle and wally were both apart for a half a decade

Wally just plain wasn't around for the majority of a decade and Kyle was knocked down the totem pole a few pegs. One not appearing and one being turned into a supporting character means little to no crossover. Crossovers are typically for main characters. After all, can't be buds in the JL if you're no in the JL since Hal and Barry replaced you as your superiors.

Then how about having them both be in the Titans instead? Kyle's been in the Titans twice before and Wally's a charter member.

They just missed each other but, hell, talk about a step down. Maybe they can relate to being miserable about being demoted.
