Has Lorna ever intercted with Magik before? This should be interesting. Hope she gets to interact with Warren bc Ive always wanted more of that

I hope for that too. I imagine she is close with the original x-team - but that is just in my mind. Warren is the one I seen least interaction with Lorna compared to everyone else from that original era. Maybe because he has blonde hair like Alex they keep her away.

This cover is full of star power with Lorna up front and center too. A great cover - hope the inside is just as good!

In regards to Empyre coming up the story for Lorna might start in the main X-Men title then move to the mini series. I will also say if one loves or hates how Morrison, Austen, and the. Milligan (at least for his first arc) dealt with the fallout from Genosha for Lorna it provided the one single thing that Lorna lacked for her history in the strongest terms an underlying event that helps fans and creators to understand the character and what shapes her.

I wasn't sold on the artist at first, but he's really won me over with these glimpses we've seen thus far. Hopefully he can maintain that quality throughout. Nice to see more action from Lorna, and seeing her lifting those cars from the canyon.

A very minor nit...

I wish they would stop saying "mutants (X-Men) can't die".
They obviously can, as we've seen with QQ, Domino, Aero...it's just that they won't stay dead because of the resurrection protocols.
