Not sure if that's good or bad... the only things that come to mind are a second book or a new creative team - and people might not WANT the latter since Kelly Thompson is selling better than the last couple of writers did.

I don't think they'd pull Kelly off the book, just for the reason you stated. From what I can gather she's got stuff planned through issue 22?

Okay, well, I really wanted this but if it was only going to be for that I understand why they scrapped it.

Honestly, that one second would have been the best compromise. They had understandable hesitation to have it the whole movie, but there were hints of the Supreme Intelligence's "true face" that would have made the one-second shot less jarring, imo.

Especially when they mention no one's seen the Supreme Intelligence's true form in the movie, so it kind of sets up the expectation that we'll at least get more of a glimpse of it at some point.

(Which we probably will, just not in that movie).
