So just finished with the DeConnick series 2012 and 2014. The pacing was good. She wasn't as OP as I thought she was going to be, so that was great. Got to have some stakes.

So where did Carol find Chewie? I was waiting for an explanation after her being a Flerkin was revealed, but it never happened.
Unless that was in volume 3 of the first run? My local library has annoying gaps in the collection, which I don't understand since it's digital.

Anyway, going to read the Alpha Flight/Civil War II books next.

Carol has had Chewie since her last MS. MARVEL series (the Brian Reed run). The cat/Fleurken first turned up caught in the middle of a fight between Carol and one of her enemies. It later randomly turned up in her apartment, and has been with her ever since.
