I’d love to see the 7th sense brought back as well. Be a cool ability to see writers try to write around without downplaying it. Never understood why it just disappeared. Be cool to be given an in story explanation as well.

Technically there already was an in-story explanation -- she lost it along with the rest of her Ms. Marvel power set when Rogue permanently stole her powers. When the Brood experimented on her and turned her into Binary, she got a new power set. There was a fair bit of overlap (strength, flight, invulnerability, the ability to transform her clothes into her costume), but it was a new power set. She now had energy absorption and projection powers that she didn't have as Ms. Marvel, and the new power set didn't include the 7th sense.

I’m pretty sure she had the ability to transform her clothes as Ms Marvel in her original run.

That explanation doesn’t make either sense given that if that was the case Rogue didn’t even get the 7th sense thing as a power. On top of the fact she’s shown the ability after the fact of losing her Binary powers

It’s more likely than not that it was just written out of continuity, forgotten or just dialed down. Same thing happened with Aquaman’s telepathy after Morrison/PAD

Rogue actually has gotten the seventh sense power. I think she used it at least twice. Once in the Claremont run (although I forget when) and once when she was in Antarctica just before they abandoned Gambit (late 90s but I forget specifically which issue).

rogue did have the 7th sense
however it wasn't as out of control as it was when carol had it

we see it in uncanny 192 and uncanny 350

maybe they split it into manageable chunks lol

I think the 7th sense probably doesn't show up much because it's very similar to a spider-sense.
