For example monica used a similar move (flying into brain of thanos as a laser). Didn't work.
The thing is though if you look at what the feats are they are practically the same thing.

Carol is robbing the electricity if She-Hulk’s brain shutting it down

T’Challa made a device blocking his electrical synapses also in his brain to shut it down.

Monica got overloaded with Thanos thoughts before she could do any real harm. yet before the conclusion that seemed to be the most damage Thanos took in his fight with The Ultimates. Given it’s the instance he cries out in pain.

I mean depends on how smart she plays it. If she goes in no prep, she hulk was knocking her around despite having fire hair.

If she uses gravity powers she can just levitate she hulk without her being able to do anything and take her to space.

Im not disagreeing, im saying super-science gets more leeway.

I mean we've seen carol absorb electricity out of wires, so idk, maybe it works with the brain.

The fire hair thing through me off in the suit when she has the mask on she always seem to have firey hair. I dont think that’s Binary but it also possibly could be. She didn’t seem to have any energy glow during the fight other then when she started absorbing her electricity, she takes off her mask and the fire hair is gone.

I think it’s just a matter of it being Carol honestly. I have to deal with contextless arguments and scans when debating for her. All her good showings are either “debunked” by some questionable headcannon or they’ll cherry-pick and bring up lowshowings which every character honestly has.

    Your making me feel bad.

I just had this discussion with a Carol fan. She was talking about how Carol can lift thousands (maybe millions) of tons because Carol stopped a Celestial from hitting New York.

I replied, Celestials are actually lighter than air and general weight less than 200 tons. (See OHOTMU) Let's just say my comments didn't go over well.

i thought their average weight was 260 tons

though this is from the marvel encyclopedia rather than ohotmu.

Still not thousands or millions of tons (unless you consider momentum)

How olds the marvel encyclopedia? Does it give heights for them as well? Might have not been as impressive as I thought it was.

Still would like to see the data sheet/scans

    i don't have the scans
it was the 2014 i think version of the encyclopedia but im going by memory since i saw it irl

but the heights were 2000 ft avg

googling that the celestials weight 260 tons average does seem to bring back results so my memory appears correct

If that’s the case that seems inline with what Aaron wrote on their height. I’m not mathematician but I wonder how much for it would take to halt their descent.

Honestly thought the showing was more impressive then that but guess not. I was trying to determine the weight of the celestials by going off the idea that their fingers weight 2 tons. Because that’s what Aaron’s story suggested so I needed to find out how much of a percentage a finger has to the rest of the body.

    According to this
    https://whatthingsweigh.com/how-much-does-a-hand-weigh/

Are hands are .575 the rest of our body weight multiply 2 tons by 5 to get all the fingers in a hand excluding your palm/backhand

Using that logic an entire hand should be no less than 20000 pounds meaning 10 tons. If we go off that logic it should get to the millions of tons range at the very least. But that’s assuming the math adds up

i don't know why you'd bend in those ways like calculating the finger to body mass ratios when celestial physiology and sizes is different.

anyway, no way to know how much force it'd take. The celestials were falling like burning meteors, but we don't know the height at which carol caught them, and at what height she stopped them, or how much time it took.

I think a smarter guy (not me) could be able to give a rough estimate based on where they appear in the atmosphere, and their weight on how fast they were falling and how much force it would take.

I think the notion of suggesting their physicals aren’t at the same percentage of a humans is baseless. There humanoid in appearance I don’t see any reason to use humans as a minimum to determine said weight. Especially given their body density should obviously be higher.

That looks old, appreciate the scan nonetheless. Yeah I wouldn’t argue they weigh more than 200 tons based off that though. I’d still say the feat was obviously greater than said 200 tons considering velocity in earth’s gravity

Celestial's probably weigh as much as they want to.
