Captain Marvel has the same problem Spider Woman and Tigra have. The new costume is just so boring but they can't go back to the one people like because "reasons".

If the reason is that there’s no way a respectable actress will wear that costume during a two hour movie, then I agree.

And this is coming from a fan who likes both costumes. But let’s be real, an actress isn’t going to wear that old costume for obvious reasons.

I think it looks better with shorts, they also gave it some details like knee pads and some gold in the gloves, but yeah, since they wanted to use it they should have given it pants like the design from Fear Itself.

I didn't even notice the knee pads. I don't think they fit on the Ms. Marvel boots. They make more sense for the Warbird costume.

Then cast an actresses that isn't respectable like Warner Brothers did at the time when they cast Gal Gadot. How soon people forget that the critics were not sold on her. If they made Wonder Woman work there is no reason why Captain Marvel and Spider Woman's costumes (that show less skin) wouldn't.

gadot wears a battle skirt with the greco roman theme and it shows less skin than her comic costume which is basically a leotard in pieces

A picture in Kamala's room in the new Avengers game seems to confirm the Ms. Marvel costume will be an alternate costume for Carol (not too surprising).

I don't think there's really a need to "overcome" it, it's her most recognizable look outside her Captain Marvel costume, so it's basically a shoe-in for an alternate look.

Considering there were leaks about Mar-Vell being the game she might've even started out as Ms. Marvel in this universe.

Begs the question how Kamala Khan comes to the "Ms Marvel" moniker if it is not one that Carol Danvers, her idol, used during her career.
Although in MCU, she's not really even using any hero name is she? is she referred to by any name other than Danvers in any of the movies? Codenames are few and far between cinematically beyond the titles.

As for squaring off the Danvers' Ms Marvel leotard rather than having it be high on the hip...I don't see the foul there...

No, she started to wear it since rebirth. In New52 she wore a modernized version of the classic bathsuit and then for a brief time she wore that odd armor that had those hidden blades like if she escaped from Assasins Creed.

I think the Avengers game made a major misstep by not having Carol as a mentor and friend to Kamala. imagine having Kamala orgin story without Carol.
