I hope that Marvel brings back Ms. Marvel's black costume with the sash. I thought it was hot looking. If Brie Larson doesn't wear it for the movies, fine I respect that. Keep the blazing star red and blue costume for the movies, the Ms Marvel costume for the comics.

Nothing to do with Brie Larson. It is Marvel decision. They changed her costume in comics in 2011 expressly for the movies. Kevin Feige said she will be wearing Jump Suit when the movie was announced in 2014 in D3

I thought the first volume was kind of dry and feels like a 616 riff more than a Marvel Action book, but I've been curious about the second trade with Nadia/Wasp (of course, no mention of Janet...).

I know about the recent reveal about her mom and now about Lauri-Ell.

But Carol has brothers, right?

Two younger brothers I believe. (Carol’s the oldest).
So are they have Kree too? Do they take more after their father as far as human genes?

There's a two decade gap between Captain Marvel and Endgame. It's very possible Carol briefly donned the bathing suit Ms. Marvel outfit during that time, even as an easter egg. If nothing else, maybe they'll use that design for an actual bathing suit she can wear in her personal life.
