That's a paradox. Arrowverse Jay was Henry Allen's doppelganger, and Joan is Nora Allen's, which means if Jay and Joan exist, Henry and Nora shouldn't have ever existed - which would mean Barry wouldn't either. All the doppelgangers are supposed to be gone, as though only one ever existed.

Jay and Joan are on Arrowverse Earth-Prime now, so that opens the door for more Jay in the future, if the writers are willing.

I know Shipp would love to come back.

Well Jay is helping Wally, look to Death Metal and Speed Metal, but Wally actually isn't controlled/influenced by Manhattan and Metron. I believe it was actually Flash #750 that had Wally basically say that he is the fastest man alive and thus he is going to fast, mentally that is, for the chair to control him and is thus in complete control of the powers he has. His biggest problem is Batman who laughs wants him.

Yeah, he was told he'd lose himself when he sat in the chair - but he didn't. He's working to defeat BWL because he's travelling the multiverse too and undoing his efforts to fix the timeline. After Death Metal ends, Wally will restore everything, triggering a soft reboot.

I liked this issue a lot !
Jay appearance at the end was the cherry-on-the-top for me, but I enjoyed many things here
-Jesse and Max interactions with Barry, Thawne acknowledging Bart's time as both Kid Flash AND The Flash (yay! continuity ) and Bart figuring it out something was wrong with "Barry"
And the art was really good also !

That said.. The Wally thing isnt (Hero) Public-knowledge huh? I wonder how will Bart react once he learns (from Iris/Barry) what happened to him

That was definitely awesome! It’s been a long while since I had a “hell yeah!” moment while reading a comic.
