Some of my favorite scenes of Iron Fist from Maximum Carnage. Liked this one when he frees Deathlok from being entangled in a bunch of electric cords:
Power than makes a man, baby .
The other scene has Iron Fist, Cap, and Deathlok take on Carnage's twisted family:
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
Sanford Green's Iron Fist, inverted Bruce Lee Game of Death style:
Absolutely correct, guys. And here's the link:

Philip Tan:
I've said it before, but I really like Pasqual Ferry's Iron Fist costume designs. They're just about right for Iron Fist the super-hero. The bandaged hands/bare chest stuff works well in the more fantasy martial arts settings, but on the streets of New York the Ferry designs look much more practical, imo.
Ferry also knew how to draw Danny's mask so the eyes don't look like Spider-Man rip-offs.
For all Bendis’ faults (personally I think he was pretty good until Heroic Age) he gave Danny some pretty hefty feats. One being taking down the hellocarrier with one chop.
Yes he did but he just gave Danny the ‘I can hit things very hard.’ ability. Which is particularly boring and non imaginative for an Iron Fist writer. Overall I was really disappointed in how he wrote Danny. Bendis is passionate about Luke and you can tell in his writing and Danny was mostly in the background.
Sadly, that's been the case in the past couple of years, right? Unless it's been Brisson, Andrews, or Walker (to an extent) a lot of writers have relegated Danny to either best friend or plot device. Let him hit something hard and make a funny Spider-Man quip. That's all they have with Danny. I get that Danny has had a ton of heat over the last decade or so because of white savior this and that, but, man, looking over all of these old pics and posts, makes me realize Danny is such a cool character.
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
Woah, anybody catch this issue of Black Cat #8? Turns out Danny and Pei make an appearance here:
IT's great to see Pei again of course, but I'm digging Danny's appearance here. It's been a while since I've seen Danny be confident and funny. Feels pretty good!
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
Final great scene featuring Danny is not him fighting, but being pretty suave with Wilson Fisk back in the Defenders title. I really liked this showing of Danny mainly because we never got to see how debonair he could be until now:
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
