I'm still processing all of this, the entire Marvel experience. We are not done with it yet. I can't believe I have to wait another year for the movie to come out, it seems like torture.

I had to wait a year from the first time I heard, maybe rumors, that they had an interest in me being one of those superheroes. I had to wait a full year for this to be confirmed.

I have to say that director Chloé [Zhao] held meetings, because not all of us joined at the same time, small talks, script readings ... but the first time we were all together was at San Diego Comic Con and that was overwhelming, having to all those people who were already part of the MCU, people that I grew up seeing and suddenly we were all in the same place. But I'm more excited than overwhelmed by the opportunity to represent the deaf community, to bring that to MCU. I think there is a lot of room for more stories like that.
Well, Angie is kind and strong. I was very grateful to have her with us, because it seems that she always seemed to be aware of our needs, she was always thinking about the cast. She was the one who asked the questions that many of us wanted to ask, she was the one who went ahead and asked. She was very helpful and very very warm. We had excellent conversations.
One little story I can tell is about when I had a hard time understanding a sign in a certain scene, I couldn't see the director giving me this sign and through conversations with Angie she helped find the best way to make that scene work . Angie has a huge heart, because she is always willing to share all her experiences with us. I like very much.
