    Savage She-Hulk #2 Mar 1980
    "Deathrace!" Bruce Banner cameo
Jill drops off her friend Jennifer Walters at the courthouse directly after leaving the hospital.
She tells Jennifer that she is taking devotion to duty too far
and that she should get some rest and relaxation.
Privately, Jill is worried that Jennifer seems colder and more distant since she got shot.
Jill gives Jennifer some cheerful words before she enters the courthouse.
"You really believe in me, don't you Jill?" "With all my heart and soul, Jenny!"

Once Jill drives away, Jennifer broods over what has happened to her the past few days... the assassination attempt
on her life which failed when her cousin "Doc" Bruce Banner gave her a life-saving transfusion of his own blood.
This blood later transformed her into a savage "She-Hulk" when the thugs who tried to kill her came back to the hospital.
Jennifer decided to devote her strength as the She-Hulk to righting the wrongs that
Jen Walters can't handle---but she still doesn't feel ready to confide in her closest friend, Jill.

Inside the courtroom, Jen moves that the charges against her client Lou Monkton be dismissed
in lieu of the confession that the She-Hulk got from the three thugs who tried to kill Jen Walters.
Assistant District Attorney "Buck" Bukowski objects, pointing out, correctly, that the confessions were made under duress.
The judge agrees and the trial will go on as scheduled, without bail for Monkton.

Buck needles Jen outside of court, comparing their legal maneuvers to a football game:
"Bukowski 7 Walters 0...in the first quarter!"
Jennifer is more than a little annoyed at Buck's arrogance and chauvinism,
and her mood isn't helped where her back injury from the gunshot is aggravated again.

Jill picks up Jennifer in her car. Jen quickly takes some tranquilizers
to ease the pain and perhaps prevent another transformation into the She-Hulk.
Jill thinks she should go back to the hospital, but Jen tells her to drive to the jailhouse.
She thinks that if the She-Hulk's "stick" wouldn't work in court, perhaps a "carrot" would do a better job.
Jennifer offers to drop charges against the thugs who tried to kill her
if they agree to turn state's evidence against their boss, gangster Nick Trask.
Two of the hoods eagerly agree, but the third refuses, saying Trask will find a way to kill them all.

Outside the jail, Jill asks Jennifer if she wants to go home, but she has one more
stop to make... she wants to see her father, Los Angeles County Sheriff Morris Walters.
Jill envies Jen's energy and determination, saying that if she had only half the drive
that Jennifer possessed, she would be a magazine editor instead of a mere writer.

Jennifer's visit with her father is less than cordial.
He think she's nuts for wanting to visit Nick Trask after he killed her mother and tried to do the same to her.
But against his better judgment, he gives her the address of a warehouse on Ventura Boulevard.
Inside, Jennifer calmly tells Trask that she is going to put him behind bars for good.
Trask isn't worried in the slightest, and makes veiled threats against Jennifer by feeding his pet cobra a live mouse.
Jennifer foolishly reveals that she has an insurance policy, which is Trask's henchmen about to testify against him.
Trask notes that in surviving, Jennifer resembles her father,
but she may come to resemble her late mother if she persists in her efforts.

Finally, Jennifer returns home after a hard day's work.
Her neighbors, the Ridges invite both Jennifer and Jill to an outdoor barbecue.
This is the same house where Jennifer received the blood transfusion that turned her into the She-Hulk.
Dr. Ridge comes out to greet the girls, and his son, Danny "Zapper" Ridge sets up the barbecue.
Unbeknownst to the happy gathering, two of Trask's goons watch silently, one of them preparing to sabotage Jen's car.

No sooner does the barbecue begin than the phone rings.
Mrs. Ridge says that the D.A. office has some important papers for Jennifer to pick up.
Jill offers to get them for Jennifer, and since she has the car keys, Jen is in no position to argue.
Zapper points out to Jen that it's unusual for the District Attorney's office to call for Jennifer at his house instead of hers.
Jen realizes it's a trap and runs to stop Jill. Too late, Jill has already driven off,
and Jen recognizes in another car the thugs she saw at Trask's warehouse earlier that day.
She runs after Jill's car, but her back flares up again and she collapses by the mailbox.
Zapper runs up to help, as Jen struggles to pull herself to her feet.
Her heart pounds madly in her ears as she realizes that Jill's life hangs in the balance.
Just as Zapper reaches Jennifer, she transforms into the She-Hulk
and hurls him away before he realizes what has happened.
She-Hulk runs after Jill, determined to save her friend.

Meanwhile, Buck is waiting in a long gas line caused by the recent Iran hostage crisis,
when he sees Jen's car race past him followed by the She-Hulk.
He jumps to the conclusion that Jennifer is racing as fast as she can trying to escape the She-Hulk, who is trying to kill her.
He doesn't realize that it is Jill behind the wheel of Jen's car, the brakes are out, and the accelerator is stuck on full throttle.
He also doesn't realize that Jennifer is the She-Hulk. Buck pulls out of line and chases after the two women.

At Trask's Ventura Boulevard warehouse, a truck driver has delivered
a shipment of stolen goods and demands $50,000 from Trask's henchmen.
Angelo is ready to pay off the truck driver with a bullet when Jill's car races around the corner.
The men scatter away, giving the truck driver a chance to escape, but Jill's car is about to collide with the truck.
Quickly, the She-Hulk hurls a VW bug at the truck, knocking it away.
As the She-Hulk races by, she glimpses an orange hand protruding from a broken crate out of the corner of her eye.
Trask comes out to observe what has happened
and is curious as to who was the being chasing what he thinks is Jen Walters.
When his henchmen tell him about the She-Hulk, Trask gets an idea:
"Well, don't worry. Thanks to the She-Hulk, [the truck driver] won't live long!"

Getting back to the chase, things have gone from bad to worse for Jill.
She's veered the wrong way up an exit ramp toward oncoming rush-hour traffic.
She-Hulk grabs a light pole and uses it to vault onto the overpass ahead of Jill.

She grabs a bus and uses it to blockade the traffic.
Now the way is clear for the She-Hulk to stop Jill's car.
Seeing the She-Hulk for the first time, crouched to stop her car, Jill finally suspects the truth,
for why would the She-Hulk want to save her life, unless she really was... her friend Jenny?

Unfortunately, She-Hulk was not the only one trying to save somebody's life.
Just as she is about to catch Jill's car, Buck races up the entry ramp and knocks her away.
Jill's car bounces off the bus, veers over the overpass, and bursts into flames when it hits a gas tanker.
She-Hulk jumps down to the car's wreckage, but it is already too late.
By the time she opens the door, Jill is already dead.

Overhead, Buck tells everybody that it was the She-Hulk who chased down "Jennifer" in cold blood and killed her.
She-Hulk angrily reacts to Buck's accusation by pounding her fists
on the overpass' concrete pilings, but is interrupted by the police.
Realizing that fighting the police would not bring her friend back, She-Hulk sadly runs away.

Later, after she has changed back to human form,
Jen Walters returns to the courthouse to finish what she has started.
The papers have already proclaimed her death, and Buck is shocked to discover that Jen is really alive.
But Jen hasn't come to the courthouse to console Buck, but to exonerate her client.
With the sworn statements of Trask's henchmen as evidence, the judge agrees to free Monkton.
"Walters 14, Bukowski 7", she smugly retorts.
The judge, Buck and Lou agree to keep the fact that Jennifer
is really alive a secret to protect her from Nick Trask.

But when she is alone, Jennifer bitterly remembers her promise that
"whatever Jennifer Walters can't handle, the She-Hulk will do."
Will she really ever learn to live with being the Savage She-Hulk?

    Marvel Two-in-One #61 Mar 1980
"The Coming of Her!" Guest-starring Starhawk and Moondragon
A bunch of dock workers on New York's Pier 17 pull a strange cocoon out from the water
and are shocked when it suddenly bursts open
and a blazing female figure rises from it and flies off into the sky.
The figure bursts into Alicia Masters apartment where she is having a candlelit dinner with the Thing.
Introducing herself as Her, the female being attacks Ben when he tries to approach her.
Confronting Alicia, she explains that she has sought Alicia out in order to find Him,
and when Ben tries to stop her from taking Alicia away,
the powerful Her blasts the Thing away and leaves with Alicia.
Taking Alicia to Central Park, Her explains that she is an artificial being created by the Enclave,
and how she originally was formed in a male body called Paragon.

Following the Enclave's battle with Dr. Strange and the Hulk, Paragon learning of the creation of Adam Warlock, aka Him, previously
formed a cocoon that entered the ocean, where Paragon began a metamorphosis into Her, so that it may be the perfect mate for Him.
She further explains that since Alicia had previous contact with Him, that she may help Her find her intended mate.

Meanwhile, Ben returns to the Baxter Building to find the rest of the Fantastic Four are nowhere to be found.
Ben then calls the Avengers and only finds Jarvis on duty, and cancels
the communication before the Avengers butler could make another suggestion.
Ben then decides to try and use one of Reed cosmic energy readers but reaches a dead end.
He is then visited by Starhawk, a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy
who have been staying at Avengers Mansion during their visit to the 20th Century
and explains that he was dispatched to help Ben by Jarvis.
Starhawk explains that he has the power to help Ben track down Her and save Alicia.

Back in Central Park, Her and Alicia are approached by Moondragon, who after a brief struggle with Her explains that she
had been waiting long for the artificial being's coming. Moondragon then explains how Adam Warlock had perished during
a battle against Thanos, sacrificing his life to save the universe from the tyrant and that after the defeat of Thanos,
the Avengers, Thing, Captain Mar-Vell and Spider-Man buried Adam's body on a Counter-Earth.

Believing that she has the power to resurrect Adam Warlock, Her asks Moondragon to take her to the Counter-Earth.
Alicia asks to be taken along with them as well so that she may experience the adventure as well.

At that moment, the Thing and Starhawk arrive to try and save Alicia, unaware of what is going on.
The two attack Moondragon and Her. However, they are easily overpowered
and fail to stop Moondragon from raising her ship from out of a lake.
Before they can escape, though, Starhawk tries once more to stop them

and takes a point-blank burst of energy fired from Her and crashes into the lake.
Ben is forced to let the women escape in order to save Starhawk from drowning.

Reviving Starkhawk, the two men regroup and Ben vows to rescue Alicia no matter what it takes.

Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #11 Mar 1985
    "...And Dust To Dust!"
Doctor Doom has stolen the power of the Beyonder and appeared before the heroes gathered on Battleworld.
Removing his mask, Doom reveals that his face has been completely healed.
He then announces that with the Beyonder seemingly dead, the Secret Wars are now over.
From afar, Doom's former minions watch as Doom speaks with the heroes.
Thinking Doom has betrayed them, the Molecule Man is furious and uses his powers
to uproot the earth under the heroes and fling them across Battleworld.
When Owen Reece angrily confronts Doom, Doom merely opens up Reece's mind
and removes the mental blocks that prevented him from being able to alter the molecules of living things.
Struck by this revelation, Molecule Man suggests that they retreat and figure out their next move.
Volcana suggests her apartment and so the Molecule Man creates a ship that
will allow them to fly to the chunk of Denver that has been brought to Battleworld.

Meanwhile, the heroes regroup at Doombase to review their notes and decide what to do with the now god-like Doctor Doom.
While they discuss this, the villains have regrouped at Marsha's apartment.
There they all agree that the Secret Wars are not worth it, and want to go home even if it means forfeiting the prize.
With that, Molecule Man uses his powers to erect an air-tight dome around Denver and pull it free from Battleworld and venture off into space.
This is picked up by the heroes' scanners and when Spider-Woman expresses concern for the friends and family she still has in Denver,

Mister Fantastic regretfully tells her that there is nothing they can do. That evening Colossus cannot sleep
because of his growing feelings for the alien woman Zsaji that he has fallen in love with.
Unwilling to go forward with whatever plans until he sees her one more time, Colossus leaves in the night.
As he goes, a ball of energy arrives at Doombase and takes possession of the Hulk.

The possessed Hulk is spotted by Spider-Woman, who tries to stop him.

When the Hulk's path is impeded the energy that is possessing him switches over to her and she continues on into the lab.
There she finds Captain Marvel -- still trapped in energy form -- as well as the severed head of Klaw.
Before she can do anything there is a blinding flash of light that causes her to scream.
When the other heroes arrive they find Klaw missing and Captain Marvel restored to normal.
They also find a message from Doctor Doom telling them to meet him at the Tower of Doom at dusk the following day.
When they wonder where the Tower of Doom is, they look out the window and see a massive stone tower off in the distance.
Doom has reformed Klaw and brought him to his side.
Having grown tired, Doom orders Klaw to guard his tower while he sleeps.

At the alien village, Zsaji is awoken by the arrival of Colossus who has brought her flowers and professes his love to her.
Back at Doombase Nightcrawler and Wolverine are looking for Colossus for the big meeting.
Wolverine points out that he is off with Zsaji and Nightcrawler laments about what this will to Piotr's girlfriend Kitty Pryde back home.
Wolverine points out that Colossus isn't really in love with Zsaji, he is just feeling the after-effects of her healing powers.
The heroes soon board a craft and fly out to Doom's tower to meet with him.
Doom announces to them that there is no more need to fight as he intends to use his omnipotence for altruistic ends.
In order to demonstrate this, he uses his power to resurrect Kang the Conqueror and return him to his own time.
He also explains that he has summoned Nova, the herald of Galactus, to recover her master from space.
He then offers to grant the heroes any wish they want in recompense for all the suffering he has caused them in the past.
When they all begin discussing it, Captain America notices that Spider-Woman is acting strangely and paying particular attention to Klaw.
Cap eventually comes back and tells Doom they want nothing.
As such Doom allows them to go free but warns them against acting against him in the future as he will destroy them instantly.
As the heroes exit, Captain America sends everyone else back so he can venture back inside and try to spy on Doom.

He finds Doom spending time with Klaw, and once detected, Doom invites the Captain in, sending Klaw away.
Down one of the corridors, Klaw is ambushed by Spider-Woman and
the energy that has been possessing her since the night before transfers to Klaw.
Captain America hears that Doom has no interest in conquering the universe and when Klaw
returns to inform him that Spider-Woman is knocked out in the hallway, Doom sends Cap away to her.
Outside he finds the others still waiting and tells them they need to call a meeting.
Elsewhere, Colossus is trying to have a romantic interlude with Zsaji but is forced to come back due to the mental summons of Professor X.
The heroes then meet back at Doombase, where they discuss whether they should go up against a god-like
Doctor Doom or leave him be, but they agree that to only go after their foe if the vote is unanimous.
With the last vote boiling down to Colossus, he tearfully asks Zsaji to forgive him and votes yes.
The moment he does, the heroes are torn apart by a massive blast of energy that seemingly kills them all.

Can we just have an Ongoing Female Team of SuperHeroes. PLEASE and NO I don't want Captain Marvel Leading it...I Love Carol, but I don't think ALL the Female Heroes respect her that much.

I think the Team should Comprise of:

    She-Hulk
    Storm
    Jean Grey
    Wasp
    Elektra
    Valkyrie
    Scarlet Witch
    Invisible Woman

I don't care who leads as long as it's NOT Captain Marvel

    Uncanny X-Men #191 Mar 1985
"Raiders of the Lost Temple!" Guest-starring the Avengers, the New Mutants and Spider-Man.
With the island of Manhattan transformed into a hyborian era reality by Kulan Gath, the evil sorcerer has Spider-Man strung up and tortured.
He explains to the wall-crawler that he intends to use him as a sacrifice to make his Master Spell expand
the entire globe and become irreversible in repayment for his previous humiliation at the hands of Spider-Man.
When Spider-Man continues to joke despite his condition, Gath tortures him some more so that his screams echo across his castle.
Kulan Gath then goes and checks on his other prisoners, and tortures Selene for daring to oppose him
by mutating her beaten body so that she, like Dr. Strange, cannot cast or chant any magic spells.

When Mirage and Sunder report back saying that they have been unable to find the rebels,
he angrily turns them into stone until Caliban/Xavier also tells him that they also cannot detect their enemies.
Restoring Sunder and Mirage to normal, Sunder suggests that the rebels must be
hiding in the Morlock tunnels - the only place where magic cannot search for them.

While in the ruins of what used to be the New York Public Library, the gathered Avengers
and X-Men wander through the wreckage of Kulan Gath's most recent slaughter.
They are attacked by a woman named Arilynn, the sole survivor of the massacre,
who attacks them believing them to be the enemy as they include Callisto as one of their number.

Before they can explain further, they are attacked by Kulan Gath's forces, led by the Scarlet Witch.
As the battle rages, Rogue loses her invulnerable diamond form, leaving her vulnerable to attack

and she is killed when she is stabbed in the back with an enemy sword.
Furious to see her comrade die in battle, Storm enters the fray like a woman possessed.

She is almost over powered when suddenly Warlock smashes through the wall and carries her away.
Unfortunately for Warlock, he cannot communicate with Storm due to the Master Spell making them speak two different languages.

The battle ends with the rebels fleeing and Starfox and the Wasp captured by the enemy.
They are taken to Kulan Gath, who uses his powers to transform them into powerful magical creatures to use against his enemies.
Meanwhile, on the rooftop of the building, Warlock attempts to communicate with Storm
with visual imagery showing her her previous self before the magical transformation.
Storm cannot fully understand what the creature is telling her, but the sight of
the old world allows her to begin to see through the illusion cast by the Master Spell.

Meanwhile, the rebels decide to try and sneak into Kulan Gath's palace.
The next day, with Captain America and Colossus posing as soldiers,
they pretend to be taking Magma and Rachel as prisoners to Kulan Gath.
However, Gath is waiting for them and sends his New Mutant and Morlock subbordinates against them.
As the battle rages on, Magik uses her Soul Sword to free her fellow New Mutants from Kulan Gath's control.

In the heat of the battle, Callisto is forced to slit Sunder's throat but vows to him that his death will be avenged.
Their fight spills into Kulan Gath's throne room where Spider-Man has been
mystically crucified onto a cross for the final sacrifice that would finalize the Master Spell.

As Kulan Gath watches on, the Vision then attempts to solidify himself in Colossus's body,
causing both men to explode, seriously wounding Captain America.
Nightcrawler, Callisto, Illyana and Arilynn attempt to storm Gath,
but are then turned into stone by the Scarlet Witch.

Having seen enough, Spider-Man uses the last of his strength to break free from his bonds despite the pain.
Spider-Man attempts to attack Kulan Gath directly, but is mystically struck down.
Watching from above, Storm and Warlock dive down to attack Kulan Gath,
managing to remove the amulet from around his neck. However before Storm can destroy it,
Magma manages to steal it away and uses it to restore Selene to normal. She then uses her power to strike down Warlock.
However, before Selene can use the power of the amulet for her own ends, Storm allows the dying Warlock to infect her
with the Transmode Virus. This causes Storm to regain her full memories and in turn infect Selene with the Transmode Virus.
With Selene under her control, Storm forces her to use her magics to free Dr. Strange.

Freed from his bondage, Dr. Strange deduces that the only way to undo the damage caused by Kulan Gath
would be to prevent him from casting his Master Spell to begin with. As such, Strange combines his magic with Illyana's
mutant teleporting power to alter history so that Kulan Gath never rose to power. Appearing in Dr. Strange's sanctum,
the only ones who remember the battle are Strange, Magik, Professor X, Storm, Callisto, Caliban, Captain America and Arilynn.
He tells those gathered that they will be the only ones who will remember the battle.
Because nobody knew how Kulan Gath gained his dominance,
they all wonder how history might have been effected in order to prevent events from unfolding.

At that moment, in the subway station where Jamie Rodriguez was supposed to be stabbed by a mugger, Nimrod
a mutant hunting super-sentinel from the future appears in the train station. Seeing a human being in jeopardy,
Nimrod blasts the mugger, incinerating him. The blast also knocks Jamie off-balance,
making the amulet fall out of his pocket and sink into the mud next to the subway tracks.
Helping Jamie up, Nimrod scans the area and notes an anti-mutant epitaph spray painted on a Dazzler movie poster
and realizes that mutants are considered a threat in this time and that it must carry out its prime directive to obliterate all mutants.

Kitty Pryde and Wolverine #5 Mar 1985
    "Courage!"
Kitty attacks Shigematsu and extorts from him the promise to leave her father alone.
Afterwards, she muses on her reasons for fighting Ogun instead of fleeing

and decides she is a grown-up now with a new identity – Shadowcat.

Trying to figure out Ogun’s next move, she believes he will attack Wolverine’s fiancé, Mariko Yashida.
So, she contacts her and her foster daughter, Akiko, instead
and hides them while she poses as Mariko to lure Ogun into a trap.

However, he easily stands up to her
and gets her to lead him to Mariko and Akiko.
Shadowcat protects the two women by fighting Ogun,

who temporarily neutralizes her powers directly on a roof.
She manages to fend off his influence, meaning he plans to kill her instead.
That moment, Wolverine, who has been following her along with Carmen and Yukio, shows up.

    Talking Happy Birthday Marc Silvestri!!!

    Uncanny X-Men #259 Mar 1990
    "Dream a Little Dream!"
Phil Moreau and Jenny Ransome, fugitives from Genosha,
are about to be kidnapped by Genoshan Magistrates,
when an amnesiac Colossus suddenly shows up and intervenes on their behalf.
Grateful, Phil and Jenny offer him a place to stay.

In Hollywood, an equally amnesiac Dazzler awakes on the property
of her former boss, Lila Cheney, and is taken in by Lila’s guard Guido.

On Muir Island, Moira has David Haller use Cerebro to find the X-Men or her missing bodyguard, Callisto.

David fails but, above him, a spirit image of Amahl Farouk appears, uttering the words ‘Storm’ and ‘Cairo.’
Callisto, in the meantime, is a prisoner of Masque, who promises that he’ll break her.

A short time later, a gorgeous woman, who Peter has seen on several ads,
runs into him and Peter notices she’s afraid of something.
In the meantime, the Genoshan Genegineer
and Chief Magistrate decide to get the fugitives back at any cost.

In Hollywood, Dazzler, Trying to figure out who she is, goes clubbing and meets Fred Stanachek,
a young man whom she once helped and who currently holds the rights to her aborted movie.

Fred offers to make her a star, while elsewhere Eric Beale schemes to kill her.

    X-Factor #52 Mar 1990
    "Celebrity!"
Archangel watches from above as Officer Charlotte Jones discovers the
body of the Morlock Wings, then saves her from a gang of crackheads

before flying off, fighting the urge to kill the criminals. As he leaves,

Sabretooth, watching from a nearby rooftop, shoots him down with an assault rifle.
Meanwhile, Scott, Jean, Hank and Trish Tilby are on a double
date when the restaurant is attacked by giant cockroaches.
Meanwhile, Opal arrives at work and drops off dinner for Mole,

who is still hiding in the basement of the music store.
On a snowy rooftop, Sabretooth checks the fallen Archangel, but gets his face slashed by Archangel's wings.

At the restaurant, Cyclops, Marvel Girl and Beast battle the massive bugs, finding it all
familiar, as Bobby, babysitting Christopher, arrives at the music store where Opal works.
Smitten with Opal, who's angry at Ship for blocking the sunlight from her apartment, he asks her out.

Elsewhere, Archangel and Sabretooth continue to fight, with Sabretooth gutting Archangel.
At the restaurant, Marvel Girl heads to the roof, where she discovers
the Locust coordinating the attack, and she & Beast quickly defeat him.

At Power Records, Opal and Bobby leave on their date,
followed by Mole, who fears for Opal's safety with Sabretooth on the loose.
Elsewhere, Sabretooth taunts Archangel, telling him he laced his claws with a nerve poison, but Archangel
manages to lash out with his wings, gutting Sabretooth as well, and the pair collapse into the bloody snow.
