Illyana can only show up earliest in Savage Avengers #12

I believe it was said that Savage Avengers #0 was a precursor to Savage #11. But I might be wrong on that. If that's true Savage #10 just his shelves like a week ago.


Unrelated to discussion, but related to Magik...
Anyone know how to find where an issue of Uncanny can be found in trade paperback version? That classic issue #231 is one of my all time favorites and I'm trying to get away from floppies and switching to bundled editions.

The only place I believe it has been collected is in the X-Men: Inferno Prologue over-sized hardcover...which unfortunately is out of print.

Marvel will get to it in their EPIC line eventually. They release 1-2 volumes of X-Men per year, so the wait shouldn't be too long

Textless comic covers work perfectly for phone wallpapers. I usually go with a unique variant. There are tons out there of Magik.

I recommend jumping on Google, Bing, Tumblr, etc. and doing a search...you will be overloaded with options

Thanks, I might switch to the Sorcerer Supreme one actually but I was thinking more "classic Magik", as gorgeous as that is.

Andru: good shout, I've used plenty before so I was hoping someone would have a cool Magik panel/splash page or something that I'd forgotten about but still works. A couple of pages in the Bendis era I'm re-reading through come close, but there's always a speech bubble or something that doesn't quite go. There's a cool Esad Ribic image in a Battle of the Atom issue I almost went for...

Only the middle is actually Illyana-616; the other two are from other timelines, timelines that didn't include the events of UXM v1 #160 & "Magik and Storm" #1-4...

Although with Magik, that's hard to track

I've heard suggestions that the Illyana 2.0 now in the 616 was originally native to some other timeline, and 'our' one seen in Infernus died

This Magik may have witnessed the deaths of hundreds of Earths out of the millions consumed in the Elder War, until one rare survivor finally replayed it down to zero X-Men fatalities in the 616, leaving countless planets broken and devoured for Azathoth & Cthulhu's breakfast omlets

('Coincidentally' zero X-Deaths were balanced by exterminating Project Purgatory & the Limbo Babies, with Face as the only confirmed survivor, although Toko, being invulnerable, might remain silently alive to not tell the tale.)
