It's no wonder Stephen and Illyana get along so well, they both have the same kind of snark and sarcasm toward other people. It's almost like Illyana is the perfect daughter or heir for Stephen because deep down they are really alike!

They can also bond over both being overdrawn at the soul bank. You add in the Ghost Riders and they could even start their own club.

i love the fact that he knows who is Pyro, is nothing important and it doesnt imply that they are close, but brings to the marvel universe a feeling of shared universe.

There are too many mutants and i dont think that all of the X-Men books can make them justice, good to see Illyana hanging around with other super natural characters.

So Dr Strange comes to Krakoa to inform Magik that Kulan Gath is back (Most of the book is the old claremont X-men/Avengers story) And it closes out with Strange saying they should inform Xavier and Magik is all like "Nah, Kulan's a bitch." and Strange is like "He's definitely coming for you" which Magik basically replies "Let him try"

Yup, this covers it. It's fun to revisit the old story, but between the 8 or so "new" pages we basically saw the best stuff in the preview. I feel like they spent more time making Magik look like a hootchie on the beach than give us any real promise that she would be joining this book. I'm guessing there has to be a reason for them to do this though.

Honestly I think after this she's going to have her butt handed to her pretty handily by Gath. This sort of overconfidence is not going to go well in a non-X-Men/Dr. Strange book.

It's not really a Dr. Strange Book. It's a team book, or Conan book, depending on how you look at it.

Honestly, the book mostly reads like Duggan calling dibs on Magik post Hickman. i mean this is after Savage Avengers #11 which is two issues from the current Savage Avengers issue
