I've never actually read the Jan/Alex arc...every time I try to read Uncanny Avengers from the beginning, I can't get through all of the anti-Cyclops and anti-X-Men themes. Not looking for a debate, but where would people recommend I start reading to catch the Wasp/Havok relationship but miss the tones that bug me about mutant issues?

If you're solely interested in their relationship. I would recommend issue 7 first, and then 12-25. Also the AXIS event but beware, it ends on a cliffhanger for their relationship and it never resolves.

I really think that's not fair. Janet's best showing in the last 15 years is in that book. Her powerset was so well utilized all throughout, we can only WISH for her to ever get another action that is half as good as jan vs sentry.

Her friendships with Wanda, Steve and Thor were all well written and again I don't recall another book after that let Janet be in the same league as them. Her butting heads with Logan was also great.

UA gave Jan so much relevance that she never got again.

Also, don't forget the artwork of Olivier Coipel (only one issue, but still pretty darn good):

No-one is taking advantage of me? Sorry Simon, but Deadpool will end up doing that. In volume 3, he used Simon's money to fund the team when his own ran out! Simon only found out after the fact of course, because he was unconscious inside Rogue.

My dad always bought me Corgi when I was growing up:

But those images are wondrous. I didn't know about Hot Wheels & Marvel teaming up.

Hot wheels and Marvel have done cars, vans and motorcycles for a while now. I have a Hot Wheels car with Jean Gey as Phoenix.

Yeah, those two and Matchbox are the main brands in model cars.

The Remender run is good and yeah, it helps it had a varied team, I do love the Duggan/Zub run more because it's the Remender run cranked up to 11.

That's a valid criticism for Remender's run but Janet was never as relevant in Duggan/Zub run as she was in Remender's run. Only in the ultron arc.
