I never count her as Batgirl.

Cass is the second mainline continuity Batgirl. Bette is Batgirl 0 - the proto Bat-Girl, and I wish they'd use her more.

Several people do. In the mid-2000s, it was the commonly-accepted thing. I was never really convinced.

Guess we'll have to wait two years until Batgirl #250 to find out who DC editorial agrees with!

I agree! I always count bette as a Batgirl. But she deserves focus. Where's my DC Ink/Zoom book for her?

Batgirl #250 better include Bette, Cass, and Steph. If they include Helena and Charlie (if they include Charlie who I don't count, I'll be happy anyway, I want her back) I'll be thrilled. They should also include Nissa and Tiffany.

Two years? But Batgirl #46 that came out this week is legacy number #201. 79 issues of Cassandra (73+6), 24 issues of Stephanie, and 98 issues of Barbara (52+46). That makes it four years to Batgirl #250.

You're right! I was silly, thinking that Batgirl was double shipping.

Maybe in two years, they'll do 225.

Completely not going to happen unless DC starts treating Batgirl like a title that matters, and not just a reason to antagonize fans.
