there he is
the Blade design is pretty epic. Love how they've infused red into his color scheme just like in the Blade vs Wolverine comic.
I'm just a little annoyed that this has overwhelmed all my Blade news alerts and probably will for the next week or two.

Its really interesting, in Marvel Zombies, they're very deliberately writing Blade as British. I think that's the first time someone's been that blatant with it (saying mate every other sentence)
don't you all like how Tracks doesn't even say there is a preview for Marvel Zombies: Ressurection out. He just makes you read between the lines lol
Good point tho. I feel like Blade should have an English accent there, which is a little weird for me especially since they are following the movie design

my bad haha
also the fortnite videos of people using Blade are kinda cool
yea this got me playing fortnite. this game is hard for no reason.
Any word on a new mini/ongoing?
Nothing. He was in Avengers and Marvel Zombies today though, although he didn't do much.
the interaction with Punisher was interesting tho

Yea. I feel like they definitely got rid of the fake robotic hand with that Blade at least. I was thinking it was weird they were saying he couldn't be made a robot when I think in Blade's first solo in the 90s, future Blade was a cyborg, and they gave him that mechanical hand kinda recently. More power to the people that want to say it grew back.
bro, you got to read the tea leaves. All writers are different but Al Ewing, Bendis, Aaron seem to get what the most popular version of Blade is. They went with that Wesley snipes design. They made him a badass fighter. They gave him the swag. They get it.
Blade's had at least two soft boots. They tried the whole Morbius bite (Daywalker upgrade) in the 90s. Now since 2006, that's basically been ignored and you'd assume he's always been a dhampir since he was born. Rather than say those things didn't happen I think Marvel recognizes it's easier to just go with the most widely recognized interpretation. I peg that since 2013 Marvel has transitioned to the current version in the 616.
We saw them do that in the Ultimate universe. The 2011 anime might be closest to the current 616 origin now. The Shadow Colonel seems to verify that in his interrogation.
