As Nightcrawler fans, who are the artists that draw him best? In your opinion..I feel bad that I never got to see Clayton Crain draw him.I'm sure he would look a total badass.I for one have a few choices. Clay Mann drew him beautifully when the X-Men went to battle Proteus in the Necrosha storyline. I also like how Ken Lashley drew him in some arcs in X-Men Gold( though he got pretty beat up in those). Marc Silvestri drew him pretty lanky in Messiah Complex but it was nice too. Mike Choi did a good job on the Logan-Piotr-Kurt trio in Uncanny X-Men 496 and X force26(second coming) where he died to save Hope.
Who are your 'renderers' of choice?

Alan, gloriously elegant and a grown up, some of the younger artists make him look too much like a kid.

And you never forget your first, Byrne was drawing UXM when I started reading. Cripes, Chris, could you fit any more words on that page?
Speaking of Ken Lashley, AoA Kurt showing show dangerous he truly is by killing Deadpool. In the same book, he took Thunderbird's finger. At least I think is was John and not little bro' James.
More Lashley art:
The intimidating and aggressive Kurt was interesting to read indeed:
I wasn't reading X-Men when this romance bloomed. Whose X-run was it in and is it worth finding the back issues? Who's the artist?
I definitely want to read this. I guess this was when Kurt finds out he could not die and maybe did not have a soul. This happened when I was not reading any X-titles. Where it this from?
X-men Gold. Save your money and time. The series sucked
Really, really glad Hickman is ignoring this, because otherwise, somewhere inside the orbit of Mercury, outside the Orchis Forge, Kurt’s body will be trying to regenerate, will get partway and then will get vaporised again by the solar radiation. Ad infinitum.
Not a pleasant thought.
