what will be the specifics of Kurt's evangelizing? Will his sermons or classes be depicted in the comics or just take place "off-panel"?

Does he have to evangelise? This isn’t US born again Christianity.

It may just end up being another plot thread just thrown out there with no intention of even being explored. Its not like that ever happens or anything. I don't want him to stick around so we can just have a comment on morality here and there so this isn't anything I haven't already thought about myself.

I’d be less grumpy if he was actually on a team and had something to do other than invent a religion.

So, since I can't get my books, any word on the whole tarot card image of Kurt as a devil? Does anyone think that he may betray the others to help his mother and in turn lead to a Kurt that took his mom's last name? Because that image on the card certainly harkens back to that idea.

Hm. Interesting, but I doubt they will go that route, if only because it’s not Kurt on the Tarot card, it Cardinal, the 3rd generation chimera who has some of Kurt’s genetic material but is a completely different character.
Now, in the future, we know the Cardinal we saw in PoX is dead, but there’s the possibility that we might get to see Sinister creating his chimera, including Cardinal and Rasputin*.

The tarot card which applies to Kurt is The Tower, not The Devil.

The tower card isn't a good card at all. Its usually about taking a fall that is brought on by faults in the person. There is a reason I think this may actually happen but I will keep that to myself.

Also, If Kurt "betrays" the team I want it to not be for Mystique. She doesn't deserve it frankly. No offense. Current Marvel has made it plain she cares nothing for him. It would be cool if he did rock the boat and leave to do something else.

We don’t know. They’ve not been seen in the comics for a couple of years now. Poof (or rather BAMF!) gone.

Ron Wagner (no kidding with his last name!). I love his work (he inked himself, BTW). He's the kind of humble, correct, expressive and loose artist I very much appreciate above bombastic ones.

This run was awesome, with that 'Girls' School From Heck' arc. Those were the days...
