I know the lack of Kurt is frustrating (the hiatus only stretching everything out) but I still think he’ll have a role further down the line. He’s the hierophant in Hickman’s tarot pack.

Todd Nauck is in the middle of doing my Kitty Pryde and Kurt (sort of) commission. I wanted something Kurtty related but didn’t want to pay $2,000 for a commission instead of $1,000. So I did Kitty with a Bamf doll wearing the Star of David necklace Kurt bought her in UXM 363. So far here’s the outline and the digital pencils he’s sent me via email. Can’t wait to get the final colored. But I just had to show some X Fans how it’s coming so far!

That’s adorable. And the Kitty I remember most fondly.
I had a Bamf! doll, sold it at a charity auction, eventually, to Diana Wynn Jones, if memory serves.
I still have the pottery Bamf! a friend made, I’ll take a photo of it, the tail got a bit broken in a house move!

His Giant Sized issue was underwhelming, his only significant appearance has been in X-Men 7.

I heard that only recently. I don't know if its true. I don't really know who CC wanted Kurt to end up with. I think Kurt/Ororo was more apparent on paper and in interviews. The Kurt/Ororo/Rachel/Logan square was never really resolved, at least not to me anyway. Kurt and Betsy just had chemistry. Then there is of course the element of Christine Palmer and Amanda Sefton from Nightcrawlers series.

Kurt/Ororo/Logan is my happy place.
Rachel just didn’t work for me, I think of her as not much older than Kitty.
But the poor lad deserves some love from someone!

Don’t know, sorry, he was selling that print of the 80s team on his website, but it wasn’t cheap.
