I really want to know about the "if he's killed" part and if he was much more important than being her (Mystiques) son. I always wondered and I don't think CC expanded apon it later.

I wouldn’t bother, that was all there was, she went back to being Illyana in the next page. Save your money.

Not sure what Chris had in mind re Kurt and Mystique. Kurt’s origin is a horrible mess, Margali is a very outdated, rather racist cliche of a Romani woman even for when she first turned up. US writers (not just Chris) and artists clearly had no idea what Germany is like (ditto Ireland, don’t get me started on that!).

There’s some very sweet Kurt and Kate moments in today’s Marauders.
I’d post pictures but they might be spoilery?
The artist draws Kurt is nearly as pretty as Kate and he has the most elegant hands.
He’s also deep in metaphysical mode, which I am less happy about.

Kurt, Ororo, Sean* It just didn’t make sense at all. Kurt stopped being scared of Logan about 40 years ago. Ororo? Don’t make me laugh. And Kurt and Ororo are friends of Peter’s too, close friends.

I stopped reading the X-Books, I’m not missing them.


*for those wondering, Wolverine gets angry over the treatment of Colossus and chases a bunch of Krakoans away, including the aforementioned, plus Warren, Gentle, Psylock, it was daft.

I love Yu's work. Anyway, some people don't seem to know that that was a miscolored Kurt in the second to last panel, you can see the pointy ears in the final panel.

What does everyone else think of this artist? I think he's my favorite Kurt artist in a while.
