I'm already a little frustrated with the dialogue ... that's probably just never going to be a strong point for me with this writer and I'm truly sorry that's the case. I'm already seeing not a lot of action from Gambit or Rogue ... hard to judge off 3 pages but ... ehhh ... if not for Marcus's gorgeous art I would be dropping this. How we get here from where we left should hopefully be interesting.

Yes, Marcus To's art is great like always but look Gambit's pose with his hands in his ears, I mean, it doesn't seem very heroic to me.

Won`t buy it. Don`t want to support it. Nothing has changed for the quality of this book and won`t change with the same writer.
Hopefully it will end soon and 2021 will be a better year for Gambit and Rogue in comics.

The fact that Excalibur was the lowest selling X-Book last month gives me hope it will get cancelled or re-worked.

No kidding. I wouldn't trust their relationship to be handled well by Hickman

The days of the booming economy are gone, we are in the Covid era with sky high unemployment everywhere. Comics are luxury items, paying $4 for a book will no longer be feasible for a lot of people, and sales numbers are going to go down across the board, especially for bad and mediocre comics (like Excalibur) those are the ones people will drop first. It's easy to be patient and give a book a second chance when you have extra money in your pocket, not so much when you are struggling to make it to the end of the month.
Also, Disney is riddled with debt and had to take major loans to stay on float, so if this book doesn't sell it will get cancelled sooner rather than later, even if Tini is Hickman's protege it won't be enough to save it.
