Mr. & Mrs. X: The Gambit and Rogue Appreciation Thread 2020 (a.k.a. Southern Comfort)

Welcome to the Gambit and Rogue appreciation thread for 2020!

The series Mr. & Mrs. X in 2019 found Gambit and Rogue's adventures as newlyweds taking them into Mojoworld where Mojo tried to make them the stars of his new romantic series. During their time there Rogue regained control of her powers, while Remy restored Spiral's soul. Upon return to their world, Rogue was baited into a conflict with Captain Marvel while Gambit left to reclaim his authority over the Thieves Guild. Rogue later rejoined him and they confronted and overcame a returned Candra.

Rogue and Gambit didn't feature during HoX/PoX, but reemerged on the island of Krakoa to costar in the new Excalibur series.

As we start 2020, Rogue is mysteriously encased in plant life and apparently in a coma after absorbing something blocking the Krakoan gate into the Otherworld. In the meantime, Gambit has been assisting the new Captain Britain, Betsy Braddock, while seeking to restore Rogue to normal.

What will 2020 hold for them? What will they decide about "making more mutants"? Let's discuss it here!

I'm currently reading the Nicieza Gambit run (vol. 3) issues 12-15 and boy is this a lot of fun! The last one has just Rogue, no Gambit, Nicieza really understood both characters.

Yes, they're all collected in various. Most should be easy to get except the X-Treme volumes.

The early X-Men and 90's Uncanny X-Men are a little harder to figure out. They aren't collected as seamlessly or numerically that I've been able to tell.
