Because I find myself wishing really hard that THIS is the look they had gone with. I love the braid and the sash, it has a much stronger fantasy vibe and just a more new, unique look to it. Also I like how much more black this costume incorporates.

Because I find myself wishing really hard that THIS is the look they had gone with. I love the braid and the sash, it has a much stronger fantasy vibe and just a more new, unique look to it. Also I like how much more black this costume incorporates.

Only problem with that design for me is that it reminds me of Carol Danvers. The hair with her current look. The sash and boots from her warbird days. The jacket also makes me thinks of Carol.

It reminded me sort of the look Rogue wore during the House of M storyline. What she is wearing is a different color, of course, but also it shows Rogue with braided hair. Rogue had braided hair in the House of M.

Yeah, I think it gave me more House of M vibes than Carol vibes. I mean, Carol hasn't cornered the market on sashes. Jean's Phoenix look had one too. Though since Rogue and Carol have formed something of an uneasy truce and respect for one another it wouldn't bother me anyway. The jacket reminds me more of Rogue's bomber, just updated.
