Mr. & Mrs. X: Gambit and Rogue Appreciation 2020

I'm HOPING that perhaps the OG characters they are emulating will maybe have some kind of a mentor-like role. At least maybe in the beginning.

It's probably a lot to hope for, but a gal can dream.

For what it's worth, this new Gambit gal seems adorable. A lot have suggested it could be Wendy, who showed up at the very end of Liu's Astonishing run. Gambit really has shined in mentorship roles, so it could really work if that's the case.

Also I'd just like to see someone else write him for a bit and Vita seems to know their X-characters. They write a perfect Bishop. Also they are one of the few current X-writers I haven't seen express a negative opinion of Gambit ... at least yet. Sigh.

I wish Remy got more love.

Candra in previews for Excalibur 12.

Kinda happy to see her. Of course shouldn`t start to be excited because it is Excalibur and everything probably will be a let down and disappointment again with a bad dialogues on top.

SAME. People keep raving about it on Twitter and I just can't get excited. If Excalibur is heavily informing this event, I'm not sure it's going to appeal to me. And waiting a long time for more books that just don't do anything much for me is hardly tantalizing. Trying not to rain on the parades of others though ...

So Candra is somewhat interesting to see pop up. Will she still be de-aged Tween Candra? Because that was fun.

And are we all still pretending we believe "blue Dad" is somehow reformed? Not just serving his own interests, like he's clearly been showing all along? I still don't get the appeal, I just remain frustrated that everyone except Remy is quietly going along with things.

I was wondering about Candra as well. She looks young in the previews, but it's hard to tell. Who knows, since Hickman referred to Xandra in HoX/PoX, maybe he'll keep Candra a teen.

I'm feeling your frustrations about Apoc. He was interesting at first, but now I'm just getting tired of no one else questioning him. It's similar to Superior Spider-Man when Doc Ock was in Spidey's body. It's interesting but there's seriously NO ONE questioning how weird this is?

Question for Rogue fans. What were your thoughts on the fact that Rogue was pulled out of the X-Men for years and taken over to the Avengers side of things? Was this seen as a much-needed change for the character or did it feel like a limitation that she was being separated from the X-Universe?
