oh, I have no idea. I presume he's dead. But of course, it's Marvel, so...

I've said it before and I'll say it again... I would pay big money to have all of those old Marvel Hostess ads reprinted in one collection.

Thanks, capandkirby. Growing up, I used to LOVE those advertisements.

And speaking of advertisements, do you think it was a missed opportunity that we never got Cap's Broadway musical...?

I'm fascinated by the 50s Cap retcon.

Have any of those original "Captain America: Commie Smasher" issues from the 50s been reprinted in an affordable print format?

And yet, that was probably the best showing Paste Pot Pete has ever had in marvel. It was undoubtedly his finest hour.

The whole run was recently reprinted in the Marvel Decades 50s TPB

I wonder what Cap's plan would be in the hypothetical Marvel and DC crossover when he catches Lex Luthor stealing 40 cakes. That's as many as four tens!

Captain America & the Falcon #14 was the last appearance for Anti-Cap.

However, it looks like he was brought back as Major America (rather briefly, though):
