Yeah, you made the right choice. I only clicked it because I thought it was just a click bait title, but might have had an interesting perspective. Nope. I’ll spare you the details, but you know when they use the sentence “fetishization of hyper-masculine” you know it’s complete garbage.
Yeah, I’ll be surprised if they even mention it, let alone apologize for it.

One of my all-time favorite moments between Cap & Doom (from ASM (V.2) #50):
Cap secretly disguised as Doom's security escort. Straczynski's sense of humor was most enjoyable.

Yeah, that was a pretty funny moment, followed later by a truly heartwarming one where after Spider-Man tried to introduce Mary Jane to Captain America as "a friend," Cap took Spidey aside and gently advised him that just because he had a mask over his face, he shouldn't let it hide his heart.
The spider is always on the hunt.
One of my all-time favorite superhero theme songs:
Stan Lee wrote Avengers #4 The issue that has Cap awakening from the ice in 1963. This cartoon appears to be made in 1966. So it’s possible it’s in continuity, I believe the cartoon is just old comics though. So I suppose it would depend on when the comics depicted in the cartoon were written.

Question!
Is the current cap the actual cap or a Kubik created fake and hydra cap that was in custody at the end of secret empire is the imposter. Or do I have that backwards.
I thought kubik transferred main "true" caps mind into a new body. But someone had me doubting that.
Although, honestly, and I think this every single time this question comes up, asking who is the 'real' version of ANY character is splitting hairs at this point because EVERYONE in the 616 with the exception of like two characters, is a copy of a copy. And some characters, like Tony Stark, are a copy of a copy of a copy (of a copy). So honestly, the real question would be, is the Steve Rogers we have today the same Steve Rogers Franklin Richards brought back after Onslaught and again after Secret Wars? Then the answer would be yes, yes he is. Hydra!Cap was a subset brought into existence by a being (the living embodiment of the cosmic cube) who's power set is similar to Franklin's, in that she can create and alter reality. I think of it as this way: Kobik (the cosmic cube) altered part of reality for the Secret Empire storyline, when she did that she saved the real!Steve as a backup copy, just in case she had to revert reality to the previous version once she was done playing with it (and she did). Despite the manipulation of Red Skull, a part of her realized the necessity of keeping real!Steve around early on (re: the Vanishing Point storyline within Secret Empire).
