Default Female X-Men Villains Appreciation 2020

The X-Men have some of the best villains in comics, and this thread is for the lovely ladies that have gone toe-to-toe with the X-Men in the past.

Who are your favorite female X-Men villains? Who do you want to see appear in the post-Dawn of X world?

God bless Land for times like these.

What IS Pryor doing these days? She must be miffed that Selene forgot that they were supposed to rebuild that Sisterhood; instead she goes Power Elite and then Krakoa.

Thank GOD for X'97. Cautious about "From the Ashes". Please no more Blue vs. Orange.

SELENE! I can't name a character that has so much potential as she does!

She's dark and truly threatening. I feel there are very few villains who are truly irredeamable without being jokes/shallow (Joker, Carnage, Cassandra Nova) and she's one of them. These types are pretty rare and they're all awesome. She also reminds me a bit of Melissandre from GOT too when you take their ages and how they manipulate that. Plus, powerful females heroes are getting finally noticed in the MCU and DCU, so it's a great time for Selene.

She was in Captain America and most recently HOX/POX but she's still not being treated as the powerhouse she is.

When she's been repeatedly stated to have already been around during the Hyborean Age, you know she must be a bad-ass. Now if only she'd finally get an arc fighting CONAN!

What even was the point of the Sisterhood? Were they officially the Sisterhood of Mutants? Why, when Lady Deathstrike, Spiral, and Enchantress certainly aren't mutants?

I'd like to see a new Sisterhood pop up using actual, y'know, mutants.

Selene all the way. She should have been an Apocalypse level villain. I would love to see her collaborate with Mr. Sinister and his shenanigans. I wonder if she felt some type of way not being part of the quiet council nor the hellfire club. I’d love to see her be petty with Emma. She would make a good bride for apocalypse. That would make one power couple esp since Apocalypse is venturing into the magic stuff these days. So much potential storylines. Hopefully, Hickman sees her potential.

so who even counts now, since former villains are joining up as one big family on Krakoa?

Candra had a really cool, mysterious look in a flashback from Black Cat #7. It's a refreshing change from the 90's comics' obsessions with women in bondage gear.

Also, I feel like Vertigo almost above anyone else makes a plea not to be resurrected as its been the tragedy of her lives. Give her a mini called The Last Vertigo and see how it turns.
