Yeah, that was such a bad ass Gambit scene. Messiah Complex, in general, was such a good storyline.

In-universe, yeah. He's a pretty big card player. And playing cards aren't bulky, so he can have 52 projectiles in a deck and keep multiple decks on him. When he was first introduced, he had spikes that he threw. I don't remember the reason for the switch or if there even was one
