Interesting about Caps shield he does charge it. Doesn't seem like it created an even bigger explosion but maybe that's just a time charging thing. Could also have to do with the shield being an alloy. From what I read it could be a combo of vibranium/steel or iron/adamantium.
Also it's been awhile since I saw Black Panther so idk if they explain more about Vibranium. But I do think if Gambit makes it to the MCU it could be a good way to connect him to the universe as I heard Wolverine suit in the MCU might be made by Shuri as well. Maybe Gambit Staff and armor will be too
Gambit`s Bo is definetely not vibranium. When he fought Moon Knight, Spector told smth like this: Your charged stuff is for sure will have a big damage but mine Bo is from vibranium.
Also Cap broke Bo on panels above.
In the early 90's he had that bo staff with added Shi'ar tech, that had spikes/hooks on the end.
I tend to imagine much like Dr. Who's sonic screwdriver, he's had a few different versions and designs using different tech.
When I saw Black Panther, the discussion around vibranium and kinetic energy storage VERY much caught my attention though. I definitely see how they could make a connection to that for Gambit in the future MCU.
Yeah, I don't really know what's going on with the shield. It seems like it exploded, but that doesn't really make sense to me. I can't tell from the scans, but did the shield itself break? Maybe because it's an alloy, it dampened the explosion like you're saying, though.
Ha! Perfect analogy. I'm with you on this. He seems to go through staffs so quickly, I imagine he would want to have one or two that are made of something that doesn't break so easily.
In regards to BP, I do hope they make reference to that when Gambit is introduced. They even used the purple/pink color scheme of the kinetic energy in the movie lol
Make Good Art
Oh yeah good point. He says "your Bo stick is charged with some kind of personal computers energy, but mine is adamantium and I don't even have to connect to do damage" or something like that. I just read that comic recently. i think moon knight is coming to the MCU so probably don't want two characters with the same weapon.
The shield didn't break he gets it back at the end I believe.
As for different staffs that would make sense, just like a lock picking set has several tools maybe Bo staffs are not one size fits all.
I'd like to see gambit and black panther become friends in the mcu so we will see

Thanks for the full thing. And yeah it would be a lot of fun to see them both on the screen. I only recently got into Moon Knight and he's also becoming one of my favorites as well as Gambit
It's really good. I've already seen it (more than once). But one thing I'm actually surprised at is the lack of reaction videos to it on YouTube. Seems like some people are avoiding it almost because there's a few channels I know are huge Gambit fans and haven't reacted to it yet
