This is one of the worst articles I've ever read. I'm not saying it just because I don't agree that MM being the most unforgivable (I mean, come on there are worse things on X-Men's history). But this is bad as an article. It is not an article. The writer just summarized #350. If that's all it takes to write on CBR I think I can prepare at least 2 "articles" per day. I can allocate some of my spare time for this article writing

I can’t remember what site it was but there was a site that just let people post articles and the most popular rose to the top. It’s actually rare now for sites to have op-Ed sections as they used to.

As for the article it’s alright. Mutant massacre issue is Gambit was not even part of the X-men when it happened

Claremont seems to go back to Gambit often in his work, which fascinates me given he usually seems to favor other characters more when he speaks of X-Men. I'm just glad to see someone give him due attention, though I was maybe more hoping for something from Niceiza. But he's already doing an Adam-X story. So are we getting an extended Gambit and Lil' Ro story? The other trouble is Claremont doesn't usually make any effort to jive with the writers that came after him, which can make things feel awkward with continuity. Still, better than the Excalibur scraps and burns.

I doubt that Nicieza will write Gambit again.
Not so long hereplied on twitter that he is not sure if he can write Gambit now cause many years passed and stories and he don't know what a character Gambit is now.

I think Storm is needed for Claremont's plot and Gambit will support. I hope he will do at least something cool.

Hand of dead Gambit had a better showing in Marvel Zombies 4 then Gambit in all issues of Excalibur combined. It is just ridiculous.
