Nice. Like the look of the suit and can't wait to see it in action. Weren't they almost finished filming when they shutdown? Like two more episodes or so left?

The Toybiz Sam figure has aged poorly. This is great news. Also clean shaven

That's the first costume of the Avengers Assemble cartoon version of Sam (he later changed his look twice).

You know who’d I’d like to see Falcon hook up with?

    Bonita Juarez.

Both Avengers. Both Social Workers. Both bird themed.

That'd be interesting, don't remember the last time anyone used her.

She's turned up here and there a few times since the original CIVIL WAR storyline as a member of the Rangers. She also had a horrible one-panel cameo in Bendis' NEW AVENGERS run when they were looking for a nanny for Luke and Jessica's baby, and he gave Bonita a line about "I sometimes lose fire control". He just threw it in to make a cheap and easy joke, but it is totally inconsistent with Firebird's history where she has not only never been shown losing control but also developed such precise control over her powers that she was actually capable of dispersing energy beams fired at her by affecting the molecules within the beam. Thankfully no that has used her since then has acknowledged that "sometimes lose control" thing.

The last time anyone really used her in a substantial way....you're probably going back to Dwayne McDuffie's BEYOND miniseries in 2007.

She was last used mainly in the Scarlet Spider run that took place in Houston, working with the Rangers.

But her last appearance, funny enough, was a cameo at Sam’s Captain America party.

Sam got mentioned in Champions #1. He's on a list of approved mentors... and of course, his mentee is the other Falcon. He's lost his other sidekick, Patriot, though, as he stayed with the team.

Ah. So Rayshaun is being used now? I thought he wouldn’t since it looked like Eli was going to come and take the title back.

Yeah, he's actually in that issue, unlike Joaquin, who was written out.

That's not his comic duds, it's one of his three Avengers Assemble cartoon looks.

No, I know that. Well at least I'm aware of cartoon stuff. Just that it's a reminder, a call back to his original duds before MCU synchronicity. One of my many beefs aligning comics and film. Example I'm a neverjrfury advocate. Anyway pretty cool figure.

I forgot he had a "classic" look before he went all Gatchaman.
