Cyclops and - shivering - Marvel Girl are cute. (yeah I still can't stand the codename and the suit for Jean)
But Cyclops and Phoenix were iconic.

I wish we had a Giant Sized X-men that was Cyclops and Phoenix or titled Cyclops and Jean Grey. I was so expecting at least Scott to get one (though Hickman's X-men book is the book for Cyclops fans). I did love seeing these two fighting side by side. It makes me think of the Dark Phoenix Saga or the X-cutioner's Song or any other time Scott and Jean fight along side one another. I do wish Jean was in her X-men Red uniform. It would look so much better in battles.

Loved this scene. A couple that fights aliens together and goes on space adventures with their family is a strong couple indeed.

I watched the DPS on X-men TAS the other day and the final episode is my favorite. My fav part is the adaptation of the panels just posted. Scott and Jean are the last X-men standing and have a brief talk and then together they head out to battle. Love it!
