There’s some really obvious innuendo. It can be taken seriously or written off as a joke depending on the reader. I was hoping for something a little more explicit so I’m disappointed.

Yeah, the speedo comment felt more jokey but there is tension building. I think that is what is smart about it. It's a bit of foreplay, but too much innuendo and no pay off is going to be extremely disappointing.

I didn't feel any tension, both were on their own chairs minding their own bussiness.

I just don't think Emma is really a part of this relationship right now. She seems pretty distant from everyone and she isn't included in the family outing.

I think that Jean is worried about wolverine being sad with the state of Ororo, Jea is trying to confort him. Scott also sees that Wolverine is the most worried here.
I really think a triangle gonna be black panther/Ororo/ wolverine.

The tension I'm referring to is what sort of relationship these four are having. The direct scene is a tease; because it can easily be read as joking but possibly flirty as well. Hickman seems to be taking the Summers family (if not the team) into poly area which leads you to read this scene in multiple ways.

People have different interpretations, it doesn't mean there is intentions.

the teases are so juvenile and disjoined that I really doubt they are going anywhere. There is a severer lack of building characters relationships to take any of this seriously
