Best thing about this preview? We see what happens when a mutant wants to keep his human job. The dox writers taking down the made up concepts one issue at a time. Mutants can have it all.

It would be cool. Though her powers were already fixed it could easily be said her powers keep breaking because she is retaining the mutant energies she absorbs for too long when in fact she should be rechanneling the energy into mutant magic.

It's usually a ladder at the bottom that leads to the staircase. Wisdom started up the ladder but doesn't reach the steps because Betsy grabbed him. She's so badass.

I am very fond of these Rogue panels already. Beautiful art, great dialogue, and can't go wrong with the adorable fiery pup. Loving her dreamscape outfit and wild hair.

Only bummer is that Rogue isn't actually awake yet.

Hopefully THIS is the issue where we hit the climax of this arc and it all moves forward and we get some answers.

Nope you didn't, just one of the many retcons present throughout this excalibur run.

Not sure if it's a retcon so much as not keeping up with the times. Either way, not a fan, given how that all went back in the Ellis run. But it's not enough for me to jump ship.

I'm liking the back-and-forth here, the art is wonderful, and I really can't wait to see what goes on with Rogue when she wakes up.

My one concern right now with rogue though is I hope she doesn't lose her super strength. I don't know why but thinking if Betsy has cap Brit powers and that includes strength and invunerability they may feel rogue having it too is redundant and turn her into a straight up sorceress

Well Jasmine said they don't have those ladders that Pete is climbing up. I'm pretty sure newer buildings have fire escapes.
