Rogue's hair + headband are iconic. Not a fan of the rest of the outift, though. Girl needs to add some texture.

Rogue sounds like herself, though. The few things she got to say before getting Krakoa-ed felt tetchy.

I feel like the coloring really hurts To's art. That Rogue page, for instance: why is her skirt the exact same green as the grass? And I've been noticing that exact effect since issue #1 (no idea if it's the same colorist, though).

Anyway, I wanna get excited for this, especially with Rogue finally joining the story, but I'm beginning to feel like Tini's writing style just isn't for me.

The lack of texture annoys me more than anything else, especially contrasted with some of the colour work on New Mutants and X-Force. It's all using airbrush-a-like PS brushes. Even something wih a bit of grain would add to the backgrounds.

It's probably down to time constraints more than artistic choices, considering the shipping schedule. Colouring 30 pages twice a month is a big job.
