She was the third oldest of the Outback era team, after Logan and Ororo.

Betsy was meant to be 28-30 when she joined the X-Men. She was about twice the age of Kitty, who was 14 or 15 around the time Mutant Massacre happened.

I wonder why Chris let Betsy flirt with Doug who is only 14 years old?

I think Betsy was even older than Ororo, but there was an annual which regressed the team into babies, and Magneto, Storm, and Psylocke were said to be the oldest. The rest of the team at that time were straight teenagers or close to it, so it's totally fine. I'm pretty sure Betsy was like 30 when she joined the X-Men, whereas Ororo was still in her mid 20's, and Erik had been regressed in age to about 35. So, compared to Kitty, Piotr, Rogue, and Kurt, yes, they are the oldest.

Dazzler was a college grad as well when she was first introduced. She was onto grad school to be a lawyer before she dropped out

Captain Britain was introduced in 1976 in UK, maybe at that time they were both college grads at age 21. However, Betsy joined the X-Men in 1987 in the issue below. So that is a gap of 11 years of real-time.

In Marvel time, she was probably in her mid 20s.

Maybe Karmas Siblings mutant powers were active at birth and they have been unknowingly turning the aging process for them and those they frequently come in contact with into one big ClusterFvck ??
