Having the Hellions back is what made this mass resurrection more palpable to me, personally. They were killed needlessly, and mourned only by a few. They were all well developed characters, which are becoming more and more rare these days

Dani doesn't have any destructive power like Cyclops or Havok. Nor can she control the weather like Storm.

Dani's original nightmare power is quite unique. Don't know much about her secondary psychic arrow power and what it does to people.... the writers haven't explained this yet.

A big part of dani's arc was her nightmare powers were difficult to control. That's immediately compaeable to cyclops.

Dani's power was uncontrollable when she first started out but so were some of the other New Mutants like Cannonball, Karma, Magik but they have learned to control them after years of usage.

Dani can now control her power.

Uncontrollable is not a mutant power but one of inexperience and young age.

I don't remember them saying that the arrows avoided the psychic link. On the contrary, when she shot Cannonball she new exactly what his fears were.

She never seemed to know what her other targets felt, not much point in using the arrows if they have the same weakness as her original powers.
