OG Xforce readers been knew that Rictor and Shatty were a love story that need to be told.. I do think if Rictor had another BF other than Shatty he needs another man of color. I would push him and Living lighting. It would be great to see two Latinx queer men in a relationship in the comic books.

I already have Living Lightning reserved for Iceman in my headcanon.

But if Rictor and Shatterstar isn't gonna happen, then my vote goes to Dante Pertuz/Inferno or Adam-X

Oh there is Dakken , Deadpool is Pansexual or Bi, there is new shield Asian male character that is Bi, Hercules is Bi(but folks say they are trying to erase that), part of the tension of Bi male characters is that if they end up with women their queerness is essentially erased but if a bi female character is with a man its hinged on straight male fetishization of bi/lesbian women.

Additionally, I think its a bit short sighted to simply count characters sexuality. Well we have 10 gay male characters, 8 lesbian, and 2 bi.. we gotta have more bi its too little. Maybe we can stop presuming that everyone is straight and leave it open. We def need more people who are representative of the world we live in but shouldnt we also push for that represenation behind the text and artwork. I want LGBTQ+ writers to bring these characters to life.

We know it was some puppy ass love because after she was on genosha.. her ass had that bonded crush on Havok . I mean Ric was flirty as hell with Tab in early x factor and had gotten on his situationship with Ms. Bane real quick. Also lets act like gay men as teens well into their 20s, hell 30, 40s, 50, 60s date and marry women but still be wanting a man.
