I’d really love it if the team abandoned the yellow and black for a while and went back to the grad costumes.

I like those costumes for Magik and Magma, and no one else... Well, maybe Karma, but I'd want to ditch the yin/yang symbol. (And it really doesn't matter what Magma, Wolfsbane or Sunspot wear, since once they turn on their powers, they have a completely new visual anyway.)

Poor Dani, it's like they ran out of fabric when they got to her pants. Warlock could at least be a gent and loan her his cloak to improvise some sort of skirt?

ETA: When's the last time we say Dani without her hair in braids? I miss her switching things up every now and then.

Who's Luciano? Anyway, those grad costumes way back in 80s are outdated.

They need better designs than that.

I prefer the current Magik and Cypher's costumes. These look cool.

By the way, can we have Alan Davis as the regular artist in New Mutants?

She's able to possess Magik who is a resistance to telepathy

In 90s X-Force, she possessed dozens (if not hundreds) of people at once

This isn't 616 Karma, but in Secret Wars: X-Tinction Agenda, Xi'an is shown as a powerhouse IMO. She possessed Rogue who then took the power of various X-Men she was fighting against, resulting in some heavy hitters such as Rachel Summers being taken out early, all the while possessing a number of other X-Men to fight alongside Rogue. She also provides their escape via a controlled Eva Bell I believe. This is a lackluster summary, but without Karma, her side of X-Men would have lost.

I don't remember Shadow King ever ran from her. In fact, Shadow King got control of her mind and she got extremely fat.

Tessa has a computer mind, her mutant powers are mental whereas Magik's mutant power is teleportation and not mental.

By the way, I found a great shot of her when she was part of the big boys. I wish we could have as good an artist like this for our current New Mutants.
