I made another photoshop manipulation of Alexandra as Rogue. This time I took the Lukas Werneck concept art for Rogue and replaced the face he used with Alexandra's. I can't believe I missed all the previous comments since I posted last.

I think Alex is a decent actress. I have always enjoyed watching her; I think she is just a bundle of joy. Anna Paquin was great casting and after the first movie I had really high hopes for Rogue but after X-2 quickly realized we were never going to get what we wanted from the character. I would have loved to at least see her get prominent action scenes where she used her powers but aside from the scene in X-2 where she borrows Pyro's powers to extinguish the flames she really never got to do anything aside from being a plot device.

Anna Paquin's casting was such a stroke of genius and it physically pains me to think about how wasted it was rogue is really difficult to pull off, she has an extra layer of camp a lot of her teammates don't but she still has that edge .. very hard balance for an adult let alone teen actor

I remember during the casting process for the first Bryan Singer movie, when fan speculation went into overdrive, being on a treadmill at the gym and trying to think of who to cast as Kitty Pryde. I mentally scrolled to Anna Paquin in "The Piano" and "She's All That" as a good idea. Then BANG, I looked up at a tv screen and it was announcing Paquin's casting as Rogue. It clicked that they could easily combine the characters as the POV ingenue in the plot, and who better to cast as an adolescent Rogue than a younger version of Holly Hunter. Exciting times they were. Sadly the X-Movies never lived up to the potential there.

Nice job on the photo manip.


I really like this outfit, I think it would translate well to the big screen.

Yeah partially open looks very good. I think the Cape is fine for Otherworld missions or sporadic istances.
