Coates is doing some of my favorite comic book writing ever, but he has to be read in trades, or its not at all compelling. I think it'd be liked more if they were released as graphic novels.

This was the single best issue of a comic I had ever read at that point. "Mar-Vell, what transpired here?" "I'm not sure I could explain, so I'll not try." Truly classic stuff.

Or he can learn how to write like Al Ewing where every issue is exciting.

New book, Avengers Mech Strike, launches in February. The Avengers are taking a leaf from the Power Rangers playbook!

This looks like a fun comic. Nothing to take to seriously. Just a good time. I’ll definitely be checking it out.

I swear there was another comic that was all about putting major Marvel heroes into Mech suits. Wolverine even had one.

(Widow gets one but not Hawkeye? Clint got gipped).

A very classic trilogy and era.

Something changed. Things have changed and drastically before, and I've nearly left the series, even after decades. But something since the latest Uncanny Avengers and most of the other A titles has just been too off for me. Not really sure I could explain it but I'm not really missing it, I'll wait until it gets better . . .

You haven't read Hawkeye Freefall have you? Clint's gone rogue.

As for the similar previous series, it was called MegaMorphs.

I don't think continuity is that big a factor in this, otherwise Hulk wouldn't be in it.

I knew this reminded me of something .
