Rod Reis who drew that fine piece mentioned himself that he's also not a fan of the costume - "Not fan of this costume but love this piece".

Btw, I just finished reading the Winter Soldier 5-issue mini-series from 2018/2019 which Rod Reis drew and coloured and I came away thinking that I wouldn't mind seeing him illustrating Daredevil. Similar to Phil Noto but slightly grittier.

Yes very Phil Noto-esque (whose style I very much enjoy and did just as well during his run on DD). He would do well on Daredevil, I agree. Probably because he IS a little grittier than Noto.
